5 Highly unethical Brad works for Business Careers by NOT BRAD - 07/26/2013

We hired a salesman and Brad has an issue with Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, or traducement—is the communication of a false statement that harms the reputation of an individual, business, product, group, government, religion, or nation. Most jurisdictions allow legal action to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. WE HAVE NO CONTRACT WITH YOU BRAD!

1 outrageous price by bkm - 04/13/2013

Last December, my furnace was broken, and All Star replaced a 3-wire pilot. After that, blower motor was shut down, and I needed to replace the furnace. During the search for a new furnace, I found out the 3-wire pilot price is $70 to $80. However, All Star charged $347. The technician said my furance (Payne) was very old, so it is very hard to find the right part. That's why the price was this high. But, actually, this same part fits on Payne, Carrier and Bryant furnace, and not difficult to find. Any way, they charged too much ($347 for $70 - $80 part), and I feel I was cheated. I paid $487 including labor and tax to replace a $70-$80 part.

4 All Star responded and "made it right" by jwc - 10/05/2009

As a follow up to my earlier review, All Star did respond to my complaint RE the steep charges, explained why the costs are what they are, and gave me a partial refund.

1 Good service, outrageous price by jwc - 01/02/2008

The repairman was polite and spent 15-20 minutes on the repair, unclogging the valve in the gas fireplace, for $189.88. $90 labor for 1 hr, $75 call fee, $10 for extra distance (he drove 11 miles from Fall City).
