Good workers, but beware of hidden charges by Kim - 09/10/2009
I scheduled a move from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, Washington which in reality is not very far. I received a quote which seemed reasonable and was told I would receive a call 24-48 hours prior to let me know what time the movers would arrive. I had to call All My Sons to find out the time as I did not receive a call. The workers arrived and did a great job. They never stopped moving. When it came time to settle up I was charged for an additional hour due to "travel time" which was not on the original quote, nor the paperwork I signed that morning. I did not argue with the workers as I understood it to be an office issue. When I called, the office manager was extremely rude and would not allow me to speak with his manager. Going through the corporate office I did eventually receive resolution of 1/2 hour credit back to my card, however due to my experience I would provide warning to others if they use All My Sons of hidden charges.

Alert: Racist Remarks Made by Company by Alert: Racist Remarks - 08/11/2009
This message is intended to alert customers on the type of person I encountered when I called the company. I called and got a hold of an older male. I told him I was calling through my list to get quotes on the cost of movers. After hearing my voice, he said "Now, I will try to speak perfect English (pause) because of your accent." I was stunned and asked him what my accent had to do with trying to attain service. He asked "What country are you from?" Again, I asked what that had to do with anything. Then I told him his comment was inappropriate and he said he was trying to be humorous. I told him I was deeply offended by his remarks and will take my business elsewhere. He said "okay".

good service by satisfied customer - 05/06/2009
We had nothing but professional and responsible service from the All My sons in Salt lake City UT and from that experience would highly recommend them. We had a tricky move from Park City, storage for a year and then move some furniture to Arizona. Excellent customer service and reliable people who took very good care of our furniture.

These people schedule my move and no one ever called me to confirm it. I called them ON MY MOVING day and they said I was still scheduled to be moved and they would call me an hour in advance. I waited 2 more hours and called again and then someone told me they don't Do moves on sundays at all. Ruined my whole experience.
