I have been going this market ...

I have been going this market for over 3 years now and they have totally disappointed me in how they have diminished quality. Manager/owners are totally now very pompous and come off arrogant now they they have some success of their business and deem customers unworthy of good customer service.

They give little to no respect to their consistent customers (talk less new). On 1 of several discouraging occasions i ran to their store around the 7:30pm trying my luck if they were still open. The door sign sign said they closed @ 7pm, but when i placed pressure on the door - to my surprise it opened. So as not to come across as 'pressing my luck' i asked the owner 'Sorry but have you closed?' and his 'customer service focused' response was 'did'nt you open the door... if we were closed do you think you can open the door if were closed?? ... please come in and get what you want' OMG!!!

Then another thing I've noticed is that they carry a lot of annoyance if you confuse them to be Nigerian (I believe they are Ghanaian). Yes their store carry a good amount of Caribbean and African food supplies BUT for some time now i have been totally turned off in going to them... I have focused my hard earned money to 'City of David' grocery store. at least there the older man will always greet you with a warm and friendly smile.

*If you read this review and feel the same way, please put the word out there and let us encourage better customer service from - it's your hard earned money that they are seem to always have an attitude collecting form us.

I'm sooo done with them!

Best African food Maeket In Baltimore

This is the best African food Market youcan ever find in Baltimore. It is well kept and very hygenic. The Owner is very Knowlegeable and his customer service is outstanding. He is also a Philantropist and donates food to the local churches annually for childrens parties.
