I am in receipt of the complaint sent by H.F, and I resent his accusations. On or around December 23, 2010, Mr. F brought his 2002 Porsche Boxster to All European for a pre-purchase inspection. Upon completion of the inspection, these were the items that were found that needed to be replaced: crankshaft seal, front brake pads and sensors, rear brake pads and sensors, and a synthetic oil and filter service. The work was performed and the customer paid and picked up his vehicle.Sometime later, Mr. F returned to the shop and advised us that the person he sold his Porsche to said that he believed that the rear main seal (crankshaft seal) was still leaking. Mr. F was advised to bring the vehicle back to our shop, as the repair was still under our warranty, and the issue would be addressed. We never heard back from Mr. F until early January of 2012, when he came to the shop insisting he get his money back. First of all, all accusations were hearsay. Secondly, our warranty is for 6 months or 6,000 miles, as stated on his invoice. He comes to All European one year and one month later with no proof, expecting compensation. This person is totally out of line.
