They killed Prince. He came to a rescue friend a couple weeks ago needing surgery from an accident. He went in yesterday to get his leg amputated because his leg was no longer use able. He should have been home last night resting and ready to start acting like a normal little kitten again, but he was tragically KILLED yesterday by ALIEF ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Directly following surgery he was given a damn bath which sent him into shock and he died. He died without being told how much he was loved 1 last time. He died without anyone with him who cared. He died when he didn't have to. His death was 100% preventable. You NEVER bathe a person or animal directly after surgery. The body is already in shock and needs to stay warm. The bath does the exact opposite. If you love your pet and value their life STAY AWAY FROM ALIEF ANIMAL HOSPITAL

My ENTIRE family takes all of our pets here. We love this place. The outside is a bit scary and the wait is usually not long , you can not beat the prices !!! They work fast but are still diligent in the care they give. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone that has time to wait and is on a low budget . THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See google reviews. Vet does not show to have a desire to help hurt animals. Would not even take a look at very injured kitten to advise if the kitten was okay to go home for the night or need emergency help. Kitten was taken to Sugar Land Specialty Center & was unfortunately to badly hurt to be saved.

I took my dad's beloved 10 yr-...

I took my dad's beloved doggie to get her teeth cleaned at Alief Animal Hospital last week. They did a fantastic job and only charged me $75.00. Most places charge $150.00 or more. I'm taking my own dog this week for her dental cleaning. No stinky doggy breath this Christmas! I thought Dr. Tomas was very nice. I think he owns the clinic.

I took my dog to Alief Animal Hospital to get his teeth cleaned. They did a nice job in that respect. After dinner that night, I found a deep puncture on the back of his head. My dog had slept on the couch from when we got home from the clinic till when I noticed the wound. The clinic was closed by that time. I called the next morning, went back to the clinic & they said the wound could NOT have happened there even though after inspecting the kennel in the back there were a number of sharp ends of chain link inside the kennel. I called to speak to Dr Frederick, and the receptionist said to speak to the office manager, he would not speak to me about the incident. The receptionist said the doctor spoke with the staff, and determined my dog could not have sustained the injury there and considered the matter closed....without seeing the dog or speaking to me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!

I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. I've taken my pets here for years and have never had a bad experience. The prices are good and the staff is always nice. If you have to take your pet to an emergency clinic then you'll really see some unfair prices!

Not the best, but not the worst

I lost one pet, due to parvo there, but they saved my other chihuahuas life! She had an infection in her uterus and they were able to save her. Of course this was after the vet explained if the infection turned out to be cancer, they would put her down. I lost it there, and the vet got kinda defensive with me after that. She wouldn't talk to me and it made it uncomfortable. But the prices are fair compared to say an emergency animal hospital. I think if you're going to take your pets for routine care, this will do, but if your pet has some serious medical needs, look elsewhere.

They were there when I needed someone in an emergency.

They act like they care about the animals. But I guarantee you, if you don't have the money to take care of what ever problem you are facing, whether it is life threatening or not, you might find yourself walking out without your beloved pet, because you had no choice but to put them to sleep, simply because you could not afford the treatment they suggest. I realize that it is a business, but not to have any compassion...... Although, I am thankful my pet made it through the ordeal, I am not at all sure that they really know what they are doing, and I will not be going back.
