AMS traces its origins back to the early 1960's. Our predecessor company, Alberti's TV & Appliances was originally founded as a TV & appliance repair business. Over time, Alberti's transitioned itself to become the Chicago moving industries' first dedicated crating and third party service.. The company was purchased in 1999 by Tom Nieman and its name was changed to Alberti's Moving Services ( AMS ) to reflect its commitment to the relocation industry.

Terrible experience and customer service

This company was contracted to move our billiards table. They were messy and unprofessional leaving mud and debris in our home. They did not install the table to our satisfaction and did not return our phone calls. I had to have the table reinstalled due laxity of the felt and staples protruding into the pockets causing a hazard when reaching for balls. They do not care about their customers or their homes.
