bad customer service
by debi , 02/19/2013
On February 18th, 2013, I had called for a taxi at 9:37 p.m. I was told by the customer service agent that the taxi would arrive within 20 minutes. The windchill outside was below 0. I explained to the customer service agent that after 10 p.m. that my job's outside lighting would be off and that I would have to stand outside at the end of the driveway to meet the taxi. Otherwise they would think the business was closed and that no one was there. I went outside at 9:55 p.m. 18 minutes after I called the taxi. I stood outside and at 10:10 p.m. which was well over 30 minutes, I called the taxi service back. I waited on hold for over 7 minutes before a customer service agent took my call. I was told that they still had not dispatched a taxi for me. I found another way home. I did the right thing and called the taxi company to tell them that I was cancelling my taxi. Again I waited over 7 minutes on hold to talk to an agent. This is unacceptable by any standards. I feel that the orginal agent LIED to me when she said 20 minutes. Is this a normal practice for your business?
Credit Cards Excepted

This is the only Taxi cab in town worth taking anywhere in Duluth, especially to and from the airport. This is truly small town personalized service. Iâm a traveling consultant going from city to city and used to paying with a card everywhere I go and heâs the only one taking credit cards. Not only is he willing to take cards, but heâs willing to meet you at your flight every time and be at your condo or hotel to take you to your flight. Scheduling with a nod of the head, didnât realize this kind of service existed anymore.
