Typical shady used car salesmen

Our experience was similar to Jay's, but the car is still running at least. They disclosed a few cosmetic things that needed work and said the brakes needed work (a free brake check revealed they were fine) so we felt like they were being up front with us. Also, in the days of unlimited web reviews, who's going to give you a bad deal, right? They slapped an inspection sticker on the windshield before finalizing the purchase, but after getting it home we discovered several things that wouldn't pass inspection. The radio was locked (needed the theft code from Honda, which they gave us after we paid them). It was then that we discovered the car had no speakers. Not a vital part of the car, true, but how bizarre! The rest of our experience with this car has been similar: odd parts missing here and there. Our mechanic says the motor will fail soon, but it isn't worth replacing at this point. We're just going to drive it until it dies, and get our next car from a reputable dealer.

Ask Airport Auto Sales if there's anything wrong with the car..I bet they won't tell you.....I BET!

Brought a 92 Honda Civic from them and the sales person told me it was a good car and it rides good. Now as a sales person of a car lot shouldn't you know any defects or what's wrong with ALL THE CARS in your car lot? It is the car dealerships responsibility to make sure the customer knows what he/she is buying and what is wrong with it if anything. Yeah the car is 18 years old but WHY not MAKE SURE there's nothing wrong with it so the customer doesn't come back on you or spread the word that you're a bad business that don't take care of your cars!Anyway 3 weeks after buying the the 92 Civic it broke down and I can't drive it anymore, in addition it has a cracked timing belt, a coolant leak and shakes when in drive or reverse. I test drove it before I brought the car...the car had none of that happening at the time. I didn't drive this car that far for those 3 weeks(from work and back..about 15 miles per day) and now I'm out $2350 and a car that doesn't start(no..it's not the battery
