This place is real "standard of care"
by Sarah Noel , 09/15/2013
All doctors and staffs at Afterours Urgent Care are angles, they provide you all the information that you need to know. I'm not really good at compliments but I can say this place is real "standard of care", especially Dr. Alexa Von Lindeman who took care of me when I was there, she is very kind and warm. Thank you everyone. I will remember and place it in my heart so I will never forget.
We appreciate the care and attention we have received

My wife and I have been patients of Afterours Urgent Care in Denver, CO since 5 years ago, and we appreciate the care and attention we have received over these years. Most recently, I saw Dr. Adam Trosterman for a problem with my calf last November (and, I'm happy to report that I have totally recovered after the 8 weeks of rest he suggested â I've been back working hard on the elliptical trainer for 6 months now with no further pain or complications).
Everyone seemed real nice, but....

Everyone seemed real nice, but in treating my son who had been running a 104 temp for a few days, they said that he was just dehydrated, and charged me $300 to put him on an IV, while completely neglecting the fact that he had Pneumonia and needed Antibiotics. 4 days later, he was lethargic and still running a very high temp, so I took him in to a different Doctor...who told me he had Pneumonia, charged me $76 and put him on antibiotics. I feel like I got screwed at Afterours & I feel like $300 was an exuberant amount of money to charge someone who is in a bad predicament, and then to be so incompetent as to miss something so dangerous as pneumonia....And right before Christmas. SHAME ON YOU!

Walked in with my wife for her to see a physcian or physcian's assistant only to be told the wait would be 45 minutes because they were in a meeting. If the meeting were about how a new medical facility could build the practice, I would suggest see the prospective patients!
Coffee break wait??
by Stuffy Ears , 12/02/2010
Went to this urgent care clinic for a pretty routine procedure. After waiting for 30 minutes to see the doctor, I was extremely disappointed when the doctor came out to the waiting room and asked the staff if they wanted anything from the coffee shop next door as the doctor was going to take a 30 minute coffee break. When it was pointed out to the doctor that I had been waiting to see him, he proceeded to do all he could to TALK ME OUT of being seen that day. He was nice enough to utimately leave the decision on whether or not I still wanted to be seen, but it was made clear to me that I was still going to wait until he finished his 30 minute coffee break. So at this point im being expected to wait at least an hour just to have a simple ear irrigation procedure done. Pretty unacceptable for a new(er) clinic trying to build up business. Ill just stick with MedExpress for all my urgent care...or even routine care needs.
