Aeromet Industries, Inc is a full service CNC machining facility specializing in the design and manufacturing of recoiler and uncoiler mandrel drums, as well as 24/7 emergency industrial repairs, engineering services and contract manufacturing.

For over 35 years, Aeromet has been providing customers with the very highest quality machine shop services. Serving the Griffith, Indiana area, this ISO 9001:2000 registered facility has been servicing steel mills, steel processors, scrap processor and large part manufacturers located throughout the country.

Aeromet's experience with the Chicago area steel industry has led to the design and manufacture of the steel processing and producing industry's highest quality recoiler and uncoiler drums. Aeromet also offers full service repair and problem diagnosis to other OEM's mandrel drums, slitter heads and other associated steel producing and processing equipment.

Aeromet's centrally located 25,000 square foot machining center also offers emergency repair services around the clock, 365 days per year. They operate their own trucking fleet to ensure your projects are picked up and delivered on time anywhere in the country. The facility features state of the art CNC machining centers with an emphasis on a large part machining featuring multiple overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 45 tons.
