The founder of Adler's jewelers, Morris Adler, was an engineer when he met and married Caroline Freeberg. Her family was in the jewelry business where she worked as a watchmaker. It was Mr. Adler's interest in jewelry and gems, together with his knowledge that led to the beginning of Adler's Jewelers in 1909. He was succeeded by a son, Larry Adler, who was also a watch maker and brought the business to the United States in 1957, Thomas Adler is the third generation of Adlers.
