Judge by the way the staff treats you when you first contact this company as a renter. Their general attitude is you are not the customer - the owner of the property is.They treat the lease more as a guide rather than an agreement. They specifics about the expectations for the state of the property when you move out are very nebulous. They took ~$700 from us and it was unclear what the state of the house should have been - this included a very hefty charge for replacing 2 light bulbs.As a renter beware - try evergreen property management as an alternative.

Staff was initially rude when we inquired about properties to rent. They softened a little, but had minimal involvement with us during the 4 years we lived on Bainbridge. John, specifically, was nice to interact with.



However, when we moved out, they extracted/withheld nearly $1,000 in spurious charges an fees (very little to no explanation was given for the charges... i.e. Maintenance/Repair: $280.00) . We are not sure how they are from an owner's perspective, but if you are a renter, Action Now should only be used as a last resort.
