Great Service by Jimmy7663 - 01/31/2009James helped me diagnose my problem over the phone and told me how to replace my ignitor myself instead of coming out and charging me. Very impressed and will use him next time my furnace breaks.
James knows his stuff by Sign on here - 01/29/2009James and his ACME techs came out and gave us great service and saved us lots of Money on the furnace!! Other tech's said we needed a total new furnace even though it was only 9 year old. , and all we needed was a good cleaning and tune up. James even called the next day to ask if we were getting better air in our furnace which we were!
experience pays by Gottcha - 12/11/2008We had have at least 4 other contractors in to look at our furnace system for intermitant problems and paid hundreds of dollars for basically what we consider children being sent by their companies to see if they could figure out our problem with no solution.
Then we had James come out and in less then 10 minutes he had diagnosed and had the part on his truck for a total repair time less then most others just to get their tools out!!!!
Very Impressive......So take it from us most others are just going thru the motions in this tough economy but this company is different than others this man knows what he is doing when others guess what they are doing james came to us recomended from a friend and we were sceptical until we saw what this man could do.... So save yourself lots of time and money and call the best first. And his pricing is to the customers benefit which is also a plus in this tough economy he is simply the best!!!
good service, bad follow-up by booklover - 12/02/2008James seemed very honest and did the work quickly. However, it took SEVEN WEEKS and nearly a dozen phone calls for him to deliver the parts we purchased.
Bottom line: DON'T BUY ANY PARTS HE DOESN'T HAVE ON HIS TRUCK.
Honesty is the best policy by Kazoo - 07/14/2008My AC stopped blowing cold so I hit this site go through what I expected to be the painful process of finding someone to help cool my family off. I read the reviews of Acme Heating and AC and decided to give him a call. James was able to meet with me the day I called him. He even showed up when he said he would, he looked over my AC and went through each of the possibilities then began crossing them off his list as he diognosed my issue. There was oil in there so one possibility was that it was leaking and needed to be replaced. It turns out the oil was coming from my capictor which turned into a 20 minute fix that saved me thousands. James was prompt, honest, and easy to work with I would recomend him to anyone who is worried about making this call, you really can't find anyone in this business who is more honest and upfront. I told him that I would be writing this review, and hope that another person would find this helpful in selecting him to call. So tell him Zak sent yah.
Job well done!!! by MyAlias - 06/29/2008James was really professional, prompt and great to work with. Even though the job took a little bit longer than he initially anticipated, he was concerned about doing the job right, which was different from my previous experience with other HVAC companies. After getting into the job he noticed that our blower/fan was dirty and explained very well what it needed and didn't pressure us to have it cleaned. We opted to have it cleaned and he did an excellent job with that as well. I would strongly recommend Acme Heating and Air Conditioning.

Good Service - Fair Price - Reliable by Bret - 02/08/2008He was able to come to look at my furnace when I called him at a late hour (8pm). I was very grateful he could come. He analyzed the system and identified the problem within about 30 minutes. He was able to bring the part back the next day. Explained the pricing upfront. I Would definitely call again for service and recommend to others.
