Hello, My name is April I recently got married on Oct 7, and I booked the Trolly through Acadiana Courier! Not only was the Trolly 2 hours early, it was so clean and well kept, also the driver James was so SWEET and professional, he even made sure all the guys suits were fixed properly before they got off the Trolly, His motto is " I'd rather be 2 hours early than to be 2 mins late", I would recommend this company to anyone who is a nervous wreck like me, lol you won't have any worries!!!!

Never again.....

I know this is a tad bit lengthy but I wanted you, the reader, to understand my experience.



I am in the process of planning my wedding and like every other bride I am beyond excitement. I recently visited a Bridal show in Lafayette, Louisiana in which I learned about this business and what it offers. My fiancé and I decided to start shopping for Tuxedos soon after the show. We decided on a chocolate tux to complement the bridesmaids dresses. This past Saturday ( 10-11-09) we hit all of the tuxedo shops in the city. Acadiana Tux and Limo was high on our short list of places we wanted to price and had even decided that if the package was right we would go with them (my fiancé’ liked their limousine choices). When we entered the store there was only one employee, that we saw. She was helping someone else so we browsed around. After the customer she was helping left she approached us and asked us how she could help. I asked if she had another chocolate tux besides the pin stripe tux which was in the window ( we were looking for just a regular chocolate tux). She the proceeded to tell me that the company that provided that tux did not do the “groom tux for free special”. Now I’m not sure how true this is but it sounded untrue being that the other 3 tux shops told us that particular tux from that particular company would be free for the groom. She then took out some swatches of fabric and threw them down on the table. She went behind the counter and got the book with the tux. At this time another couple ( I’m not going to sugar coat this) which were white walked in. My fiancé and I are African American. The employee had been pretty rude to us but I was trying to give her benefit of the doubt besides everyone has a bad day. She never asked as any questions and didn’t even know we had picked everything from the tux, tie, vest, and shoes already before walking into the shop. When this couple walked in the employee became “excited and happy” completely opposite of the way she was with my fiancé’ and I. She then throws the tuxedo book on the table and asks them if she could help. From what I could gather they already chose this company and the young man needed to be fitted. She then measured him, and gave him a pair of pants to try on. The young man then went into the dressing room. At this time I was very upset but I figured she was going to assist us. I was wrong! She then goes back to the counter where the young lady was standing and proceeds to have a conversation with her like there was no one else in the store. She didn’t even check on us. To be honest I wanted to see if she would even help us while they were in the store. The other couple had her full, undivided attention while they were there. She didn’t even acknowledge our presence until they left the store. At that point we left as well. The employee then tried to be “extra nice” as we were walking out but our business was already lost. I, like every other bride, dreams of the perfect wedding. Acadiana Tux and Limo isn’t a place I would step foot in again. I’m sure the couple would have understood the lady helping us, the couple that was in the store first. This is bad business etiquette and I could only imagine that it would get worse if we would have chosen them. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without businesses that treat their customers like trash. I would not give my business to this company if it were free.
