Westwoods Center of Performing Arts, Academy of Dance, Gymnastics and Music offers classes for students of all ages. We are Arvada's largest dance and music school, providing opportunities for students of all ages to experience the arts.

Our Dance Program consists of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop and musical theater, with a specially designed program for the young student (ages 2-5).

Our Music Program offers both private and group lessons in piano, voice, guitar and violin. Our instructors are all university trained in the instrument they instruct, and we offer more than one instructor for each instrument to meet the different learning styles of all students. Private lessons are offered for students 5 years old to adult.

Toddler and Preschool Music Classes are also offered for children 12 months to 5 years old. We feel it is important to provide young students with the opportunity to be introduced to the basics of music, including singing, playing instruments, rhythm and the use of their imagination.

Our Gymnastics Program offers classes for students 2-16 years old. All of our classes provide instruction on the floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam and vault. Our classes are for the recreational student, and focus on building strength, flexibility and self-esteem.

WCPA offers the families of Arvada and Golden a convenient option to enroll more than one student in different programs at different times, saving families valuable hours of driving time!

WCPA's Fall and Spring Programs run from September-June. Classes are held weekly, with recitals held in December and June.

WCPA's Summer Program runs June-August, offering classes and camps for students of all ages. Summer Camps include Musical Theater Camps, Mom's Day Out Themed Camps (for students 3-7), Hip-Hop Camps, Gymnastics Camps, Ballet Intensives, private and group lessons for all musical instruments, and weekly dance and gymnastics classes!

All of our instructors and staff are First Aid and CPR certified for the safety of our students.
