Above Plumbing Shady Company by Catherine Spencer - 10/20/2009I called the above plumbing co on Sept 3 of this year ,I had a broken pipe under my house.A man and his wife came and said they would have to remove half of my kitchen floor and the estimaate was $3,000.00 with 2/3 down I said no I'll give you $500.00 down I don't give anyone large amounts down before they have done any work. I had a death in my family a few day's earlier and wasn't thinking clearly,So later I got to thinking that was an awful lot of money ,So first thing next morning I called another Plumber for a bid. He came over and said there was no reason to cut out 1/2 of the floor and he could do it for around $1,000.00 so I called Above Plumbing and told them I was going to hire someone else and could I get my $500.00 back and they said no problem,I hadn't got it back in aweek so I called them and the guy said he sent the check to the main office in Colo.and it would be the end of the month which i'm still waiting for I got a # in Colo. and called it and found out they Lied an
Take Caution In Using These Guys by disgusted in Cheyenne - 10/01/2009I got an estimate from these guys for $275 so I had some work done at my residence using these guys and got charged almost twice the estimate. Knowing very little about plumbing I got a few other estimates after the fact and found that Advanced Plumbing charged me over twice as much as other local plumbing companies. I asked for a refund of at least 25% and they said they would but of course never sent it. The owner even gave me the speech that "he doesn't like to overcharge people and that he would make it right with me", sure, he may not like it but he still does it. They were at my house for 4 hours on a job they said would take an hour!! I will not ever use these guys again
