Jerome and Corinne both have a minimum of 30 years experience as practitioners and for 25 of those years ran one of the first alternative wellness centers in Seattle. Jerome and Corinne each are available alternately Mon-Sat from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Our rates are affordable: $80/hour for a general massage or therapeutic massage for medical conditions or injuries via your motor vehicle or medical insurance $100. We accept credit cards and offer senior and student discounts.

The Abintra Wellness Center's purpose and philosophy is summed up in our name "Abintra," an Indo-European word meaning
"emanating from within." The idea we would like to convey is that wellness comes from within, that inside each one of us there is an intelligence, a wellspring of energy and vitality, of wellness and joy that when tapped can lead to more abundant health and happiness in our lives.

In the individual massage sessions and hypnotherapy and classes that we've offered at Abintra, the emphasis has been and is on releasing the blocks that are in the way of our deep inner intelligence so a greater balance can be achieved; a balance depicted in our logo of the physical, mental and spiritual sphere of life.

Whatever the therapies or classes you choose to experience at Abintra, the underlying theme of our services is to help you let go of (mental, emotional and physical) pain and tension so you can rediscover the wholeness of your being.
