Excellent by Before - 05/28/2009
I have been in Abbott twice in the last nine months. The quality of medical personnel is excellent, and the care is outstanding. As with all health care facilities today, they have a number of employees who are English second language,(see above comment), but I found they are extremely kind and caring people who are grateful for their jobs and do them well. The nursing care was excellent, and quick to respond to an unexpected crisis. As someone who has family members and friends who are doctors, and understands quality care, I will choose Abbott Northwestern again.

Nursing staff has their language difficulties. To many poor English speaking staff. Felt like I was in another country most of the time. Had problems with several nurses that thought they could treat you poorly and get away with it. As if they were having a bad day every day or just hated there jobs.

Abbott Northwestern is a very well-organized hospital that does many things well. I was very pleased with my experience there, and without having to go through bureaucratic hoops and annoyances that I have experienced with other hospitals.
