Why do they have a satisfaction guarantee if they don't honor it? I called the owner Lisa and complained about a bouquet of Sunflowers that my wife received today and instead of making good on the order, all I received were excuses. The flowers are essentially dead, drooping toward the ground. I wish I could include a pic. I would be embarrassed if I was a florist and produced this poor or a product. After reading some yelp and the BBB reviews, I am not sure why her friends used this florist in the first place. I would never ever ever use this florist!!

HORRIBLE! My family ordered me an arrangement through Teleflora after I gave birth to my daughter. I took pics of it and sent the pics to my family saying thanks, and my mom said that those looked nothing like what they ordered. In total, my family spent $85 for the "premium" arrangement that was supposed to be pink and white roses, ribbons, and a pink vase and I got a clear vase full of filler flowers like carnations. Not a single rose and they paid that much money for the arrangement! COMPLETE RIP OFFS!!! Teleflora issued us a refund and this company wants to come get the flowers and tells me that the driver is leaving in 5 minutes to which I tell them that I won't even be home then and that I can leave the flowers out front. They tell me not to do that b/c they will die (they were half-dead to begin with) and she told me that I could bring them to their location! GET OUT OF HERE! You deliver me CRAP and tell me (after having a baby 5 days ago) to bring your crappy flowers back to you?!?! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! I hope Teleflora and any other company that contracts with these guys will cut them off b/c they are straight up ripping people off!

wtf

Absolutely the worst florist in the world hands down. I buy flowers all the time and for some reason, decided to try ftd.com for christmas. Well they sent the order onto these people who delivered the worst looking bouquet I have ever seen. It was horrendous. Nothing at all like the picture. The flowers werent even the right kind, color, number, size, and all looked like they were about to die. I called them only to receive a response in broken english that they don't take returns even though they give you a card that says 100% satisfaction guaranteed! wtf is this company

NotGood...ButEXCELLENT!!

I don't usually place online reviews but this florist really compelled me to do so. First off I placed the order on faith as I was not in town. I needed the order delivered by 1 day before Thanksgiving. I was told FTD didn't guarantee a delivery so close to a major holiday so I called the flower shop directly. The owner spoke with me and stayed extra just to ensure delivery for my daughter's birthday. When I got home the flowers were still fresh & were prettier than the picture. I think extraordinary effort above & beyond & quality need to be honored, Thankx

My husband ordered a Thanksgiv...

My husband ordered a Thanksgiving Floral Bouquet. It was supposed to be in fall colors, with a dozen orange roses. What we got was a tiny little bowl with 6 white and pink roses, red carnations, white daisy flowers and a lot of ferns. The roses were half dead, the edges looked like they had been burned. The red carnations were almost completely dead. The colors were completely wrong, and most of the flowers were so dried out they were crispy. The arrangement didn't even fill the bowl it was in, the flowers just sort of flopped around.

He ordered through FTD, and filed a complaint with them. We were told the florist would come pick up the flowers and deliver new ones, but that never happened. We are waiting for the promised refund.

In short, don't use Abandale Florist unless you want an unfinished looking arrangement full of dead flowers!

FROM THE OWNER: My primary concern is to make every customer happy. I am , however, not naive and I realize we can't always do this. I apologize for your obvious concern but I note that the complaint here was lodged with the corporate entity and not the florist itself. I run a small business and it simply is not in my best interest to anger, annoy or ignore customers who place food on my table. Please call me directly I will make it right!

The service was friendly & knowledgeable- we had them do our wedding after we went to a wedding there at the store (yup, another service they have). I was super stressed so it was great to deal with them.

First off this is a local business. Second speak English & Spanish & some French too. I've ordered from them long enough to realize that there are ways to save when you call from outside the city- set up an account with the store & then you don't pay the middle guy fees (like the "1-800-BoKayy" or what-not "services"). The 1-800 services charge YOU a order fee, a transmission cost & other fees so your $49 boo-kay will be close to 1/2 when received by the florist then they have to account for delivery too. Bottom line- go directly to the florist & save, especially if its locally owned! If you are nearby pick it up & save delivery charges ! I like this florist & their products because they give me all these options & have been good & fair to me & those I've bought flowers for there.

Do call me & set up an account & you will save & have the convenience of an end-of the month payment! And , as you can tell, I am fluent in English, Spanish & some French !

good quality, they have some design awards so they must know what they are doing. Plus they give discounts to us in law enforcement and have some kind of account where you can order and then pay later.I'm not sure how that works but the owner told me I'd save additional that way. I had one issue this Mom's Day with a delivery but they fixed it the same day & gave me some extras. I'm really stunned by the reviewer who lied about language! Clearly there is some hidden agenda here & it is simply not true! My advise- try them & I believe you'll be as happy as me.

this place i horrible

they should not ever be allowed to arrange flowers, I ordered a bouquet for my mother for mothers day, and what she got looked like a child arranged it, the second bouquet wasn't even close either. I don't know if the people they have working there are color blind, or they don't have the FTD catalog, but I will never order flowers thru FTD again, because they are contracted with this company, if there was some way to give a 1/2 star I would.

Horrid

1 star only because I must.

Firstly, most of their employees don't speak english (surprise, surprise). Furthermore, their employees are extremely rude and will lie to your face.

I ordered flowers for my mother for Valentine's Day, which arrived a day late. The flowers were half-dead and the florist had the gall to claim that they were cut that morning, even though the date on the card and the shipping slip were both dated for the day before. Additionally the vase was chipped and cracked.

When asked why, their rude response was: "what'd you expect - we were busy!"

Only a masochist would do business with this florist.

My customers are dear to me- we don't tender excuses & I am never too busy to address legitimate client family concerns. Come on, how else could I make a living in our town by having so many repeat customers. Come in & I will prove that as we have before.

Valentine's Flowers Delivery February 14, 2011

I just received a Valentine's Day flower delivery from my son who lives in another State. It was delivered by Abandale Florist. I must say this is the worst flower arrangement I have ever received and my husband sends me lots of flowers for all occasions. It was delivered at 5:30pm on Valentine's Day and left outside my front door on the porch uncovered. I arrived home 20 to 30 minutes after the delivery person called me. When I got home and took the flowers inside, I found that all of the white lillies (the order from my son was to be pink and not white) were brown around the edges. The flowers did not look fresh at all. None of the flowers were open all the way but some slightly open. The arrangement looked like my 9 year old granddaughter put it together.....very non-professional. Actually, I think my granddaughter could have done a better job. It looked like someone grabbed some old flowers and threw them in a vase for a hurried delivery....just awful!! Of course, this morning the flowers were even browner....every one of them and they are still not open yet. Half of them are still closed up. I was (am) VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED.....and so was my 21 year old son when I told him!!! It broke his heart to know that I received such an awful arrangement when he was so excited about sending them to me. Bad service - Bad product!!! This deserves a NO STAR RATING BUT I AM FORCED TO GIVE IT A ONE STAR.
