Best Shop in Town! by Soldiers Mom - 03/05/2009Excellent customer service and repair knowledge! In these hard economic times it was so refreshing to find an automotive repair shop that could not only fix my truck/transmission issues but worked within my budget! Our family has been hit with unemployment issues (like plenty of others here in Portland) and being down a car made it impossible to even look for employment. During my original call to the owner of Aamco (Jeff) he offered to look over my truck to diagnose the issue (for free), had a driver pick up my vehicle (for free), and responded in a timely manner with the quote. After explaining my families financial situation Jeff did advise of a finance company I could try to use to get the repairs paid for....of course because of the kind of interest they would have charged this would not have been an option for me. As such, Jeff generously offered to allow me to make payments on my repair costs. Wow! What companies do THAT these days??? Not only did they fix my transmission issues
