Fraud? by South Hill Cruiser - 06/16/2009Similar experience as Kitsap Rob...Tranny was low on fluid, sight inspection failed to catch loose fill plug. $150 computer test recommended with ZERO findings. Tried to tell me that the entire tranny was shot and needed an IMMEDIATE replacement at a cost of at least $3K. Other transmission shop found loose fill plug, pulled the pan to check transmission and found nothing wrong other than 1 qt low.Buyer beware from this shop.
Beware! by Kitsap Rob - 10/14/2008This AAMCO ownership recommended expensive repairs that our Lexus dealership service department said were unnecessary.
