Worst Pawn Shop EVER!!!!
by Frank Winters , 10/20/2013
I enjoy visiting Pawn Shops, and have seen many all across the country. These people are the rudest, most disrespectful, least professional pawn clerks i've ever met. Do not waste your time going in this hole.

I have been pawning things here, mostly jewelry, and buying things here for over 12 years now and I always get a generous price no matter which way you go. I have gone to other pawn shops in the area, and I am always disappointed, and regretted that I didn't go back to my regular A to Z pawns. They treat me right, they are courteous, they are up front, they don't give you any big stories about anything. You know where you stand with them and most of all they treat you right and give you a good and decent price on everything. No short changing here. I won't go anywhere else anymore! Buying, oh gosh, THE best deals in town. Would never buy anything anywhere else if I buy used anything. All of its tested to work perfect, the jewelry is magnificent quality. Awesome people. Love it!
Only For Desperate People

A to Z, and all pawnshops, makes me wish that I owned a pawnshop! When you bring in your gold, diamond, or gemstone jewelry, they pay you solely by the weight of gold ONLY, regardless of how good the jewels are in the gold. Forget trying to get anything for gold less than 14 karat. If you do well, you will get $100 to $200 for a wedding ring, for example. The next day, you will see it in their jewlery case for $3000 to $4000 . This is why I wish I had a pawn shop, the profit is unbelievable! Just don't think you are going to get any more money because you have flawless diamonds or expensive gemstones, they are just going to weigh it and give you barely what gold is going for. But, pawn shops were designed to help desperate people, and that is what they know...... desperate people will take whatever they offer, even though it is the lowest price you could get for your jewelry. Don't forget that there are some high end jewelry stores that will buy your jewelry or put it on consignment for you, try those first!
worst pawn/purchase experience

I purchased a tv that would not turn on after 2days when I went back to speak with a manager I was told they only do a 24hr warranty when most others do a 30day warranty. A few months later I had to take my laptop in and when my maturity date came up I went in and they already had it on the shelf for purchase and I had to pay $75 on the maturity date to buy it back on top of the original loan and finance charges ! They are absolutely scum !!!
Rude and no customer service.

I was in the store (for the 3rd time) on 2-17-12 looking at 2 guitars I have had my eye on for the last month. I offered a fair market offer on 2 Ibanez guitars. I used recently ended auctions to arrive at my fair price. Which is what they do when they give you a offer to buy your item at 20%-25% of auction price. My offer was fair market. The Ibanez RG420EG had 2 ending auctions. 1 @ $172.50 & the other @ $101.00. Combine the 2 prices & divide by 2 and you get an avg price of $136.75. My offer for this guitar was $200 out the door. More than fair. And my offer on the other guitar was equally fair. Still, it wasnt good enough for them. They wanted an additional 50% mark up from my offer. I must be honest, these 2 guitars werent close to great condition. I would classify them as players. Ibanez makes so many lower priced models that these 2 guitars are losing value every day. They use the "bigger idiot theory" to make money. Do your research before you buy from here. You will save $
