Welcome to A-1 Scuba & Travel Center! Our family owned dive store is proud to be celebrating 50 years in business - training divers since 1959!

We are the largest and longest established dive center in the region and have trained over 30,000 people how to dive. Our award-winning facility has a large equipment center, full-service travel agency, indoor heated swimming pool, spacious classrooms and a state-of-the-art service center.

How about a local dive - in saltwater? Our downtown aquarium diver program provides you an opportunity to dive with sharks, eels, turtles, a 400 pound grouper, sawfish, barracuda and many more of your favorite critters. Articles about the program have appeared in the United Airlines In-flight magazine, Scuba Diving Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine, the Undersea Journal, the Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Westword and Professional Business Journals. We offer special courses for the disabled and work in partnership with world renowned spinal cord & and traumatic brain injury center, Craig Hospital. Together we have developed an incredible disabled diver program. We even have a ceiling lift over our swimming pool, making entering and exiting the pool safe and easy.

We have three full-time travel agents working in our full-service travel agency. They can help you plan that escape of a lifetime, provide exciting diving & non-diving vacations and help insure great memories that will last a lifetime.

How about an underwater birthday? Children from age 6 and above have celebrated that special day, underwater, with their friends.
