There was way too many negative issues for me to believe it is real. I didn't find any of those issues you talked about.



This is a great place and if you have nothing good to say, then as Mom would say "Don't say anything at all".

Personable, professional stylists made me feel right at home. Several assistants offered me espresso or tea and nice light snacks have been available every time I've been there. They use the best hair products on the market (Kerastase).

The three haircuts and colors I've had there have been the best on the peninsula and I've tried a lot of places before finding my new home at 1258.

This is a relatively new salon I thought I should try in Menlo Park and it was a bad idea all around: salon with unskilled hairstylist & outdated hairstyles, cheap and rude owner (he orders stylists to mix unused colors that don't match to avoid opening new boxes), all the while trying to position itself as a salon deserving to charge 2X the going rate in the entire peninsula area.

Stay away is my recommendation and go to a salon that has been around for a while with a proven track record.
