It was necessary to have my mother move to Minnesota due to the increasing difficulty she was having living alone, far away from any family members. The services provided by Home Instead have helped so much in the adjustment we have all had to make. The staff gave personal and careful consideration in choosing a caregiver who would be a good match for my mom. This very special person has gone above and beyond during her weekly visits, providing my mom with creative and stimulating activities and encouraging her to participate in social activities within her building. Meeting the specific needs of a situation is clearly most important in Home Instead's approach to caregiving . Since I am the only family nearby, it has eased my mind to know that there is someone else who my mom knows and trusts to help her when I cannot. I have worked in the field of Geriatric Rehab, and from a professional as well as a personal point of view, I highly recommend Home Instead to other families.

I engaged Home Instead for my parents. My father is my mother's care giver and I could see the toll it was taking on him. A wonderful woman has entered into my parents' life. She comes twice a week and provides companionship as well as light housekeeping. It is a relief for me.
