Marvin and June Stowell, along with friends, family and neighbors, began their foodservice business in the Activity Center at the Walworth County Fair in 1964. Their first catered dinner was the Walworth County Holstein Association's annual banquet November 3, 1971. Word of mouth passed along news of Marvin and June's good food at a fair price. By 1975, it was time to move out of their home kitchen and build a commercial kitchen. Today, Marvin and June's granddaughter, Brenda, along with her parents, Bonnie and Jim, operate the business. Stowell's caters many weddings, company events, banquets and gatherings of all kinds each year, and of course, st he Walworth County Fair. Please call or email today to discuss your special event.

You can follow one of our menu outlines or create your own. Any of the outlines, or anything you may order, can be picked up, delivered, or can include our staff to take care of the buffet and clean up the buffet area after the meal. Any of the items in the menus are available individually for pick-up. In cases of delivery or pick-up, if disposable containers have not been used, dishes must be returned clean the follow day unless other arrangements are made. On-site grilling is available for your outdoor event. We will provide side items to accompany your pig roast. This is only a portion of the items that we prepare.
