This review site is not allowing me to fully describe why I had such an awful experience during my massage at Clique. It is saying I used profanity and I am NOT. So I will try to modify it and refer to the body part that is considered "profanity" instead as my "seating area" (you know what body part I'm speaking of, ok?)

I am female. I’ve had maybe 7 spa massages previously. At Clique,I had my first by a male. As I have always done for massages, I left my “bikini brief” style cotton under wear on. That is MY COMFORT LEVEL.

When I flipped to my belly, the male therapist, w/o asking, abruptly yanked my under wear up into my "seating area" and aggressively massaged my "seating area". I am still shocked that I remained silent during this!!! It made me very tense and uncomfortable. On this day I had a thin pad on but what if I had a thick pad in my under wear? I have never had any therapist disrespect my choice to leave my under wear on and expose an area that I had chosen to be kept covered. Previous to the massage, I had explained to the therapist that my neck/shoulders/mid back were the areas I wished him to focus on, so it was not as if he were addressing a problem I had asked him to work on. In fact, he ignored my request and, just as he had on my friend before me, he spent the most time massaging my upper legs (including way high up on my inner thighs) and "seating area". My friend and I both had the same reaction to this therapist. She also had never before had a therapist act this way!

Other "cons" to this facility: Noise and hair chemical smells from the hair salon travel up the staircase to the common area of the "spa". Both my robe and that of my friend had tattered sleeves and a 2" hole (mine on the sleeve, her's on the side) My massage finished 10 mins earlier than the 1hr I paid for. Water only is offered. Coffee and tea are available.... at an extra charge! Really? Previous spa experiences at other facilities had included healthy snack choices (nuts, fruit, etc) and a variety of teas.

Never again!

If you're looking for an Aveda...

If you're looking for an Aveda salon in South Jersey, Clique Salon and Spa is the place for you. Clique offers Aveda hair, skin and makeup products exclusively with an array of services and they offer Aveda's complete line of products. Clique offers an array of services using the complete line of Aveda products including Aveda skin/body products and Aveda signature services. Clique performs Aveda Signature Spa Services such as facials, massages and other body treatments using only Aveda skin, body and aroma products. Clique’s staff paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. The staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've probably ever dealt with. They are very warm and professional and that makes the whole experience that much better. I am always satisfied with my visits to Clique for my hair care needs (THANK YOU PHYLLIS!!) as am always satisfied with my spa visits, too. The salon was very easy to locate and I will ABSOLUTELY return. I always have amazing experiences at Clique, and they were by far the best hair salon and spa I've experienced in South Jersey. Keep up the good work!!

Salon and Crystal

Well let me tell you as a previous customer of Click Salon and Spa I agree strongly with the one customer . They think that you are doing them a favor by going there not to metion the wait time........ you better pack breakfast, lunch, not to mention maybe dinner depending on what time you go there.

Crystal did my hair 4 times.Tthe first time I gave her the beifit of the doubt thinking that I went on a busy day. I waited for hours and on top of it she cut my hair crooked as heck and my color bus very baddddddd ........I still had tons of gray...... so by the 4th time of of waiting for hours and bad hair cuts and colors not to mention she is slower than molasses maybe she autta loose some weight and some attitude thinking her hinie don't stink..........thru the great vine I hear she is no longer at Clique and now is at another salon God Bless the people at that salon in dealing with her narsistic self because she won't have may clients there either..

Lasting Afffects

I've been a patron at Clique for over 10 years, experiencing the luxurious spa as well as the salon. My hair has always been hard to keep healthy, it's thick, coarse, and long. Prior to going to Phyllis, other stylists (from Madison Ave., NY,NY to the "Ma & Pa")salon soultion was to cut it; "Keep it short and you can keep it healthy" they would say. Relocating to Burlington was how I came to patronize this salon. Not only has my hair maintained it's length, which I love, it's always healthy, no breakage. Consequently, my 2 girls are now apart of the Clique family. I now live in Princeton, but traveling for premium hair care is worth it! Thanks Phyllis!

Beautiful little spa

It sure is a beautiful day at the clique salon and spa... i love it there... they treat you like royalty. Fruit everywhere.. and even the ICE has fruit in it. The hair equipment is top of the line and the chairs are comfortable. The atmosphere is lovely and the workers are friendly.. ready to help out when asked. I really felt special at clique and book my next appointment on my way out to make sure i remember. Everybody and place has a bad day.. but to my understanding the crystal this unsatisfied customer is referring to dosnt work there anymore. So come on back hunny... enjoy yourself. and if need be... make sure you ask if that day is busy if you hate waiting.

Clique is great and i recommend it for any occasion.

They even have two new massage therapists... .. oh i love me a massage.

Horrible salon

I will never go there again.. the customer service is horrible they should be treating the customer like queens when infact they act like we owe them a favor by going there very poor attiude by the so called stylist Crystal. not to mention how slow she is and poor of a job she does on your hair. its so confusing for taking so long to do your hair you would think its done right nope not even close. you should also pack your lunch and dinner cause thats how long its going to take all the time. excuse after excuse with Crystal for the money I took myself somewhere else they will never go anywhere in that salon with that kind of attitude and poor service...............
