Provided by YP.comThis is the worst taxi company ever. The night before a flight, I made an appointment on the website. The website told me I was good to go.
Appointment time comes around. No taxi. I wait ten minutes. I call the company. No record of the appointment. They dispatch a cab, telling me it will be five to ten minutes. Twenty minutes later, no cab. I call. They tell me it will be two minutes. Forty minutes after my original appointment time, the cab arrives.
Then, the driver (who has a gps, like every taxi driver in Northern California) asks me for turn by turn directions on how to get to the highway.
Call someone else for your ride.

The cab picked me up quickly, but the driver was obnoxiously loud and rude. Trust me. I'm a New Yorker. I can handle my cabbies.
He was screaming into his phone throughout the entire ride and texting while driving (or attempting to drive). He spent the better part of the ride trying not to swerve into the guard rail.
Also, the driver didn't even attempt to help me with my bag.
Overall, it was a very poor experience. I hope it's an exception and not the norm.

Provided by YP.comThis company failed me this morning. Yes, the Friday before Christmas is possibly the worst day of the year to realize that your cab isn't coming to get you.
It's a simple business: I call, book a reservation and they come get me. I don't care if the car is old or the driver is dangerous... all I care about is getting picked up on time. Are You Ready didn't pull that off. This is a commodity business, no one can afford to wonder if their ride will or will not show up.
Call someone else.

Provided by YP.comTerrible. Called them at 7PM on Sunday night to get a cab to the airport at 8:30PM. Head downstairs at 8:30PM and no sign of the cab. Give them 5 minutes or so, still no sign.
So, I try calling the phone number I had called to request the cab. No answer. I tried the other three numbers they have on their web site. Still no answer. With a flight pending, I instead had to get my wife to take me to the airport on a moment's notice. Suffice it to say that, with the number of cab companies out there, I will never be calling this company again...save yourself the trouble.

Provided by YP.comBefore you jump to a conclusion based on all the 5-star reviews, you should know that this company offers a 10% discount to anyone who writes a 5-star review BEFORE THEY HAVE EVEN TAKEN A RIDE IN THE TAXI! Does Yelp have a policy about this sort of bribery?
Anyway, after I called to make a reservation, I was told I would receive a phonecall to confirm my booking. Never received it. Had to check for myself.
Was quoted a price of $60 to get from Palo Alto to SFO. Bill ended up being $80 without tip.
Driver was either texting or on the phone (placing the outgoing calls himself) the ENTIRE time, with no hands-free headset. The ride was at 4:00am when highway 280 is pitch black, making the lack of attention to the road even worse.
The car was really disgusting. In addition to being very outdated (squeaking, tears in the seats, etc.) it was not clean.
Needless to say, I was pretty appalled by the service I received here. I would not even think about calling them in the future. Read the 5-star reviews with caution!
