I had a clutch in my truck and a transmision in my car replaced here. They did both the truck and car back to back fast. The finished product was perfect. Better than I remember it new! Excelent team, great communication they took the time to show and explain the problems, the old parts. I would highly recomend!

Stay away, at all costs. I was a customer for four years, and finally realized that I was getting cheated. I shouldn’t have trusted the owner. The final set of visits there to diagnose and repair an engine misfire problem left me with $2500 worth of transmission repairs and replacement of spark plug wires, and no change in the misfire problem. I continued taking my car back there, asking them to fix the problem. The third visit they told me they were pretty sure the problem was with the drive-by-wire system, but not entirely sure. They sent me home with my car running no better than when I was there the first time. I took my car to a couple other shops to have the misfire problem diagnosed. They both said the misfire problem came from head gasket deterioration. I showed the owner the results from the other shops, along with evidence of shoddy work done by his technicians, hoping he would come clean and refund my money. He refused. I’m still trying to get my money back. Shops like this must be held accountable for their incompetent work and shady business practices.

The owner/mechanic charged me $409.74 for parts and labor for a botched job. The majority of the charge was for a so called OEM Crank Position Sensor. The crank position sensor he sold me was definitely not an OEM part but a knock off that sells for $40. Not only did he sell me a non OEM part he destroyed it by misassembling the sensor into the wrong hole in the transmission housing, such that the clutch torn into the sensor housing and destroyed it.

Thanks to the Hi-Line Auto Electric guys, my 2004 Acura is now fixed.... I had taken my car to another "Japanese" specialist in Burien, who had my car for 12-days, and couldn't fix it. They referred me to take the car to Hi-Line Electric. So, I did. I met with the front counter man (Tim), and discussed the problem with the car. 2-hours later, I received a phone call, that the problem had been diagnosed, he provided me with an estimate for the repair, and would be completed later that afternoon. Around 4 o'clock, I received another phone call, stating the repair was finished, and the car was ready to be picked up.When I came to pick up my car, Tim showed me what the problem was, and what they did to complete the repair. The cost was actually a few dollars less than what was quoted, and I was/am extremely happy with Hi-Line and my car...Another thing I thought was nice for them to do; They perform a no-charge courtesy inspection, showed me things on my car that are in need of service o

I've been coming to Hi-Line Auto Electric for over 25-years, and I trust these guys with all of our cars !!! They do great work, they are honest, and they have always treated my wife and I very well. Their FREE "courtesy shuttle" is a nice added service, and I recommend this company to all of my friends and co-workers..Thank You, and keep up the good work..

When i told them about this they threatened to break other components within my car unless i payed to have the current ones replaced.
