Gun World is the best gun stor...

Gun World is the best gun store in So. Cal! They have a huge selection, cool collection and knowledgeable sales personal. I feel so secure now that I am a gun owner.

Thank you Gun World

My first trip to Gun World was on a Saturday and they were packed. It was no problem waiting the 5 minutes to get help in the packed show room, as I spent the time ogling over case after case of guns. Considering that there are over16 million people in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and that we only three or so large gun store and a half dozen smaller ones, we are woefully underserved. For this reason I can forgive the busy store and the wait.

Of all the gun stores I have been to Gun World has the best stocked with the most knowledgeable sales staff I have seen. Southern California has tremendous deficit of firearms stores.

The sales man was nice and polite. This is a rarity with gun stores so I consider this a real stand out difference between Gun World and the other gun shops I have been to. They made my Kimber purchase a pleasant experience.

They also have the best selection of AR rifle around, LWRC, LMT, Christensen Arms, Smith & Wesson, Bushmaster, DPMS, CMMG, POF, Franklin Arms and even the classic Colt.

Nice Store, great service and good selection I will be back

It's exactly their selection and service that make this the best gun shop in the greater LA area. Their inventory has got to be worth millions...MILLIONS of dollars. And no money on earth could buy the experience and expertise of their staff. I'm always treated well when I go in - and I always come out having learned a little something.

This is a great place to go LOOK at guns and see what you like. Unfortunately, the men who work there are not the friendliest! :(

All these 5-star reviews are pure fiction. Their service is bad. Their staff is poorly-informed and often rude and condescending. And worst of all, they are PRICE-GOUGERS. Go anywhere else unless you are all right with paying 25%-100% over MSRP.

I have sold many guns. Gun World has always been fair and up front about their offers. I f it a hot desirable gun you might get 60% of what they are going to sell it for. If I am willing to wait 30 or 60 day and put it on consignment I can get 70%. They stressed that this is on desirable gun in mint condition like Gloc,k SiG Sauers, Kimbers. On old shot guns it going to be half of what they sell it for.

I was lucky. I sold a Sig Sauer 516 that I paid $1600 for and got $1800 but this was at the height of the AR Panic at the beginning of 2013. They lady bellow “sanfernandovalley” must have thought here Ithaca was worth a fortune. I bet she was lucky $25-50 for it and yes they are going to sell it for $100 or even $150. I know from working at gun store when I was young, that those guns can sit for ever and that a store can get dozens of them. When you have 10 of something you are not going to offer much for it. I was told by the owner that it take almost two hours of paper work to log the gun in, do the State and Federal paper work and the pawn broker checks on the gun. Sometime the gun comes back stolen and they are out all of their money.

I thing gun world is a great place to sell guns it is one of only two stores I know of that is always willing to make an cash offer. Most store will not by old firearms and are willing to only do it on consignment.

Best selection I'v found in outside of rifle gear in orange county. I'v heard alot about their customer service being awful but being a semi regular customer iv only seen them be rude is when someone is trying to do something illegal. Their prices are alittle high but ill pay to not have to wait in line at turners and once youve bought a few guns if you ask theyll give you a break.

I read a few these reviews, some I agree and some find hard to believe. I purchased my first rifle, m&p 10, a little pricey but no one else had it. Israel helped us out and had us laughing and smiling. After ten days went back to pickup the rifle and saw something I liked, so I bought another rifle ar-15 that no else had. This time another guy helping me, not in a funny mood and charged me wayyyyyyyyy to much ridiculous price, kind of a offensive price. But I drove an hour to get there and said okay anyways. Came back after ten days, and there was Israel again. This time I saw something that I REALLY liked. I told Israel hey I'm here picking up the AR but we changed our mind and we want that one. He smiled and said let me see what I can do. He credited us and TOTALLY TOOK CARE OF US! This is how it works. We drive one hour to get there, two hours to get back. And we keep going back because of ISRAEL. Anyone who goes to Gun World I strongly recommend going when Israel is working, if it's his day off DON'T EVEN BOTHER. And if the owner of Gun World is reading this..I think you better give Israel a raise before Guns Direct steals him from you!!!!!

I went in looking for a Glock and found they are asking $200.00 more than anyone else.

I bought my Glock 19 at Turners for $540. They were asking $780.00!

in general they raised all their prices across the board higher than anyone else

Im sticking with Turners because they have not raised there prices except on ammo was a modest raise.

I won't ever go in there again.

All these reviews must be from...

All these reviews must be from the Gun World employees/owners. This place is the worst gun shop ever. Employees are nice and informative but the owners have the worst attitude. They are alway PMSing. They have the highest price on all guns and the worst customer service which explains it all. Their price is ridiculous. I will NOT go to this place again. If you want to get ripped off and get yelled at by the grumpy owners for your money, go to this place.

Gun World great selection of firearms and a friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff.

They were all so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. This store is HUGE and they are very well staffed. I was greeted and taken care of as soon as I walked in the door even though it seemed to be pretty busy. This place should be the first stop for the first time gun buyer. How this place gets slammed in the review is beyond me. The have the friendliest most knowledgeable staff of any gun store that I have been to. Gun World great selection of firearms. All of my favorite brand Kimber, Glock, Colt, Smith Wesson, Kahr, LWRC, POF, Stag Arms they have them all.

Gun World is a gun enthusiast’s paradise.

I have bought, sold, and traded a number of guns at this shop, and I feel like I have always gotten good deals, fair trades, and honest treatment. I really enjoy doing business there, and I would recommend this shop to anyone needing firearms, ammo, or supplies. All employees seemed very "gun" knowledgeable and everyone was friendly.

Best place to shop for guns in Los Angeles

I have yet to find a friendlier or more knowledgeable sale people then at Gun World. They have a very complete selection of handguns, rifle and shotguns. They were kind enough to put up with my three trips to the store looking at every possible handgun. They were so patient with me. The discounted Target range member ship has saved me hundred with the 10% off. This were I will go for my next purchase. They have made a loyal customer out of me.

the worst place to buy or sell a firearm

my father passed away in march and i acqured his 1956 winchester model 70 243 rifle, scoped and in really nice condtion,,anyway i have small kids and decided to sell it,i did some checking of my own and found this gun selling for 1800.00 to 2100.00 in purfect cond,so i thought one in decent condition would bring a fair price,i went there and dealt with a jerk of a salesman and he took it in the back of the shop, came back out and said i will give you 100 bucks for it,my mouth dropped and i said i just wanted a fair price,he said if i didnt like the price to take it somewhere else..i will never reccomend this gun shop for anything,i wasnt exspecting big number, but i didnt want him screwing me over ether and thats what he was doing..anyway their guns were very pricy and the service was aweful..i will never go back again...

overpriced

I would not shop here EVER! My friends girlfriend bought him a Glock 19 from this place for Christmas (she paid, he did the paperwork) and they said he could come in and exchange it for a different Glock if he didn't want the Glock 19. When he came in to do the paperwork and asked about swapping it for a Glock 22 they said they would charge a 25% restocking fee! 25% for what!? to put a gun back in the display and swap it for another one??? Thats rediculous to me.. Even more rediculous than the $699 they charged his girlfriend for the $500 gun. Do not shop here.
