Please do not put your loved ones here. The residents can be seen wandering the neighborhood at all hours of the day and night, this neighborhood is not safe. I once came out to leave for work and and an elderly women had fallen on the ground and was screaming for help as several staff sat in the covered porch area smoking and cackling to each other, someone walking down the street helped the women up and attempted to help her back into the building but was completely ignored by the staff. The staff hang out under the covered porch area screaming the N word and other obscenities at each other, cackling, and getting into physical fights with other staff and random passersbys. This summer 2 women busted out of the door facing the parking lot and were screaming and threatening each other. The fight ended the one of the staff yelling 'I am still your supervisor B****!' Super professional. This place should be shut down. The so called nurses and aides act like absolute animals.

Not very warm and inviting environment. Dull and drabble rooms with old thrift store looking furniture. Raggedy blankets. The place is a joke. Clothes thrown all in residents closets that are not theirs. Looking to place my family member someplace better than that.place needs an upgrade of facility and staff.

Regret placing my mom here 2 months and were removing her. Very dirty broken furniture. Staff sits at a desk all day watching TV or sleeping. I literally had to wake a staff member up in the middle of the day. A patient had soiled themselves before I took my mother to an appointment when we returned 4hr later gentleman was still not taken care of even though 2 staff member were sitting in the community room with them. Many times I went into my mothers room to find no blankets on the bed and she's using dirty laundry as a pillow.

If you could give no stars, I would. A relative was there and the care was awful. Safety issues were ignored, toilets were often jammed and overflowing, and nothing was done. The caretakers on the Dementia units are not CNAs and they are paid less than McDonald workers, and it shows. I often saw the staff asleep on the job, and the TV and music selections were set for the staff's preferences not the residents. Often there was one staff member to care for and serve meals to an entire floor of residents. I observed the residents being demeaned and treated with contempt by one of the nurses, and when I reported it nothing was done. A resident was moved from another floor to the dementia unit and her clothes were left in bags for days, with no one making an effort to put them away, until I did it. My relative was private pay, and for the care she got, we were robbed.

I am not happy with this place. The care is not that great. Names and numbers for the people on the 3rd floor have NONE !!! The rules for the floor are something less than desirable, can not see your loved ones for 2 weeks before they are allowed visitors for what to adjust give me a break who thought of such a thing. I would not put my pet in this place!!! Where are the hearts for the people!!! Where is the care? Where are the names ???? What do they want to have them forget everything !!!!

My father-in-law was admitted to Mary Agnes on 3/14/11. He was there for 1 week before he was admitted to the hospital. After 1 week in the hospital, he was admitted to the Hospice, in which he passed away on April 1, 2011. After he died, we were told by several people at Mary Agnes that since my father-in-law died, even though it was within his 1st 30 days, that we would be getting a pro-rated refund due to his death. We were told that we had to pay for his stay up to & including the day that the hospital called them & told them that he could not return due to his medical condition. We were again told that we would be entitled to a refund for the remainder of the money. However, we were now told that we will not be getting a refund and they are keeping all the money. How cold-hearted! They don't even care that someone died! They changed their minds & are now charging us for 30 days even though he died! All they want is money. We would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

I also have a loved one living in this facility. I am less then thrilled. My loved one is not properly taken care of and I feel as though they are trapped there since there is not many other choices available for us with our particular financial situation.Something needs to be done about they way hospitals place people into adult care facilities as if the people are just a number rather than a living, breathing individual that have feelings. Also, something needs to be done about how adult care facilities perform daily tasks with the people that they are responsible for.
