Bryn Mawr College, founded in 1885, is a college providing educational opportunities to more than 1,200 women from over 45 states in the United States and 60 foreign countries. Its coeducational Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and Graduate School of Social work and Social Research together enrolls more than 400 students. Varieties of educational programs offered by the college includes social service, chemistry, physics, mathematics, clinical developmental psychology, French, Greek, Latin and classical studies, law and social policy and philosophy. Bryn Mawr College also offers summer science sessions and summer-abroad programs, summer programs for high school students, summer institutes for kindergarten through 12 teachers and EDGE programs for women and minority students in graduate programs in the mathematical sciences. It offers interdisciplinary centers and interest groups, such as the Center for Child and Family Well-Being, the center for Ethnicities, Communities and Social policy and the Center for International Studies. The college is located in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
