I have been taking my three small dogs, 2 Havanese & 1 Yorkie, to Dog & Butterfly for years - almost since they opened their shop. Lynn, Lauri and Sam are wonderful. My dogs always look great when I pick them up. Have never had an issue!

I dropped my aunts dog off today, she was matted but I had instructed them not to cut her hair. When the owner saw the dog her firsts words were �what is this shit�. I wasn�t sure if she was actually talking about our dog so I let it go. They called me saying they could not groom her without shaving her, I said we do not want her shaved but please contact my aunt to confirm. My aunt was in a meeting and unable to get to her phone, hints why I was dropping of the dog. They shaved our dog without permission and when my aunt went to get the dog, the owner threw cut hair in my aunts face, yelled obscenities at my aunt and pushed the dog. The behavior was extremely unprofessional and my aunt was truly fearful for herself and her pet. Please be aware when or if you visit this business!

Warning!! Our dog got lice from this shop!!We brought our 14 ½ year old dog to Dog and Butterfly to be groomed. This was our second time coming to this shop. The first time was fine – no issues. This last time however, we noticed our dog itching soon after he got home. We gave him a bath thinking he had some residual soap left on his skin that was bothering him. The itching got progressively worse so we took him to the Vet for evaluation. The doctor pulled samples from his fur and diagnosed him with lice. Our Vet advised us to call Dog and Butterfly immediately to alert them of this problem. We called Dog and Butterfly to alert them of a potential lice problem and to request a refund from our visit. We spoke to a manager who said she would speak to the owner and get back with us. A couple days went by and no return phone call. We called back again and was told by another manager that we couldn’t “prove” anything so therefore they would assume no responsibility. We asked to have the owner call us and was told, “no, the owner’s aware of this and she’s not going to call you.” We were stunned and speechless at their lack of customer service, the unprofessional manner in which we were treated, and their lack of concern for possibly exposing other dogs. All we wanted was to alert them and to request a refund because we didn’t feel good about paying $55 to have our dog infected with lice at their shop. Dog and Butterfly lacked the decency and integrity to even return our phone call let alone give us a refund. We were told that if we weren’t happy, we could take them to “small claims court.” We don’t know which was more insulting, the lice, or their total lack of regard for our experience at their shop. Our dog is old, deaf, and partly blind. He sleeps most of the day at home and is not around other animals. The only outing he had was to Dog and Butterfly for his grooming. This is the only place he COULD have gotten lice.We’ve had to cut his fur off almost down to his skin. We’ve given him numerous baths and he’s on a steroid to help with the itching and swelling. It’s been almost a week since he’s been treated and we’re still pulling lice out of his fur daily.

She fixed up my dog which is a Mini Schnauzer, that same day from a horrible first haircut & experience from Petco. My dog Dolce' instantly took a liking to her, the co-owner and workers! From that day on, this is the only place I will take my dog. It is her second home and Spa Day every time she goes in. She is always running to go inside and can't wait to greet everyone and she always comes back to me so happy! Extremely clean environment and professional. Homey and inviting. You can definitely tell they genuinely care about the well being of your pet. They are also so friendly and accommodating! They do whatever it takes to fit me in. Especially on her Birthday, which is today (6 Years) !!! Tell them Michele & Dolce' sent you, you won t be sorry!*

I have a 4 month old Shihtzu Maltes mix who was a little hot mess when I took her in. I had taken her twice to Petco and the last time Petco trimmed her head she was so uneven I thought I would have to wait until it grew out for it to look better.Nope the expert groomers did an amazing job on making her hair on top of her head all nice and even. This place is the best!!!! They are very professional, friendly, the is a place is very clean and cute. It smells wonderful inside too. Plus their pricing was less than Petco and they do all the extra stuff for that price!!!!I was so happy with the results I took my other two dogs in the next day too!!! I will be a regular customer there from now on.

Without a doubt they are the best groomers both professionally and personally that we have ever encountered. We are on our second dog with them. Every time we have been more than happy with their work. Definitely a five star business that we recommend to all.

They did a great job grooming my Newfoundland. It has been a week now since he was groomed and he still looks and smells good. He came home calm and relaxed. We'll be back!

I shopped around to find the right groomer for my Shipoo & Pompoo and Dog & Butterfly are the best! I won't go anywhere else. My girls have confidence when they leave and look gorgeous!! I highly recommend this groomer.

this place sucks!!! i took my maltese in to get groomed and i will NEVER go back...she was still dirty..she had matts behind her ears still...and was knicked in the back leg...she was extremely scared when we picked her up...never will be going back

I have had several bad experiences getting my dogs groomed - an Aussie and Chinese Crested Powder Puff but finally find a place that I can take them and know they will be treated with care! The grooming service is excellent and the groomers listen to your dogs needs and do what you ask. I highly recommend them to anyone!

My dog Snicker loves his groomers! He is always excited to go get cleaned up. We've always had great, friendly service. The groomers have done an excellent job with him!

This is the best grooming spot in the Broomfield/Westminster area. The shop is extremely clean, and the staff is the best. I have taken my dogs here since shortly after they opened and have always been pleased with their work. More importantly, my dogs tell me all I need to know by willingly walking in for their next visit and actually being pleased to see the staff.

I love this place. They take care of my dog all day cause I have to work. They walk him and give him water. He is alway happy when I pick him up. He also looks good and smell great. The staff are very friendly. Thank you very much.

I've worked at Dog & Butterfly ever since last year, when I moved from Texas from a very upscale salon there. In all the places I've applied here, and others I've seen, Dog & Butterfly has the friendliest staff (always willing to pitch in, a team effort is emphasized) and a very great relationship with their clients and customers. Also, a emphasis is placed on quality and hand scissoring, and we're never short of happy dogs to groom week after week!
