Mateo Cargo Express has different iterations of the same company where they don’t pay their bills, the balance is sent to collection agencies, and as a result anyone with claims pending via FedEx or the carriers used via LTL shipments lose their money by default. They utilize “WhatsApp“ for phone numbers as the third party encrypts their data and thus lessens liability. When you reach out for customer support it becomes clear the structure within the “company” is to prevent you from making contact and following up for resolution of any issue. The constant through line here is the last name Segura and those associated with the previous companies no longer active due to what’s stated above. If anyone has had a similar experience I encourage you to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and reference Luis Segura, Plinio Segura, and Julio Segura.
