Had to re-edit this post. What I see that's happening is they would pull up a site that sells your item at the lowest price. Ebay, Amazon, and so on. Keep in mind these items we brought from stores not online sites that's sell used items.Then tell you they can't do better then this offer. Then say, we can only sell it for less then that price, and offer you half. For instance, my laptop which was brand new, never turn on still in original package. Retail at $449.00 and a 2nd brand new laptop still in original package price at $229.00. They first said that a Dell inspiron HD 15.6 screen that is a touchscreen laptop is not popular then a Macbook. There macbook they was selling is not a touchscreen and its scratch up, they been selling that since 2017,Also if you visit any office building their computers are Dell's. Not Macbook! But this is part of there bad business. They claiming they can only sell the touchscreen for $250 and offer me $125. Then the hp laptop that online going for $229. He said he can only get $100 for it, but he never look up that price for the 2nd laptop and said I can give you $50. So in total for a combined value of $680 I brought in the store, they only offer me $175. I understand this is how you make your money, scamming innocent people out of there valuables. I advised everyone to steer clear of this place. Its sounds sweet, but it will leave a sour taste in your mouth. I Guarentee it!

This place completely sucks! There are a ton of other places you can go in the area with better prices, better customer service, and more inventory. Do not waste your time with these jerks!!

The customer (Luis F.) was explained the purpose of each transaction and that resale is different than retail and each time sold the items. If he was unhappy with the prices given then he shouldn't have sold them. On top of the ignorance, he was also very difficult to deal with each time. This is slander based on ignorance of this type of business and if he wanted to get full value at any point in time, he could have sold them himself online.

I have been shopping here over the last year for many of my collectables, as well as just casual shopping. The service is very good, they honor the product, and their buying prices are very fair. I buy and sell items often and this is by far the most reputable and fair establishment in this area. John the owner is very helpful and the store has been a great addition to that area.

I absolutely love the Swap Shop. it's very convenient being right in Brooklawn. I don't have to go all the way to Philadelphia just when I want some extra cash. they are always fair and give me a respectable price when I need the extra money. I go there for all my movies gaming retro gaming and all my tools. I get way better pricing then I could ever get online or at any other shop. and for those reasons I will always go to the swap shop to get anything I need.
