Attending the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis for his undergraduate degree in microbiology, and Illinois College of Optometry for his doctoral degree. He joined the Milwaukee Eye Care team in 1991, and is now a member of the Milwaukee Optometric Society, the Wisconsin Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
