My TWO YEAR OLD son's VERY FIRST class EVER was tonight and I have NO idea what happened or how he interacted with the group because all parents were FORCED out of the studio to make it easier for the young girls to lead the class. My son is just two and isn't able to tell me what he did or what was done in the class.... or how he was treated. There are no mirrored windows or surveillance cameras to allow parents to witness ANYTHING that happened, good or bad. I'll never get this "first" back. I have no pictures and no record of this event.
I spoke with other parents and they seemed dissatisfied with this situation for the same reasons. I was surprised to overhear the instructor suggest parents of 2 -3 year olds leave the location entirely and go to Sonic during the session! The only time I was spoken to by ANY of the staff was when I was told to leave the room. I opened the door a few minutes later to try to get a quick picture without even stepping into the room and one of the girls blocked the doorway. told me to leave, and hit me with the door in the process. This studio needs to realize that this experience is also for the parents ESPECIALLY when the students are just babies attending classes for the first time. I cannot adequately express my disdain for Moore's Dance Studio in Broken Arrow, OK.
