Very professional, fairly priced services. Dealing with mold resulting from a flood in our basement was a pain, but Bluestone Environmental really took care of everything involved in the process after we called. Obviously, mold removal is not the type of project anyone wants to have to do, but they made the best of a bad situation. The price was fair, and we were much more comfortable with their estimator and st.aff than some of the other mold contractors we received estimates from.

A dead sump pump and a leaky foundation caused really bad flooding in a couple of our properties. As the both homes were vacant, the water and mold growth weren't discovered for several weeks. By the time someone came out to do mold assessments, the drywall in both basements was pretty much covered from floor to ceiling in black mold. Worse yet, we found out that the floor tiles that had started peeling up from the water contained asbestos. We talked to several Chicago area mold and asbestos abatement contractors, but Bluestone's responsiveness (they did free estimates for both sites within 24hrs) and patience in answering our questions set them apart. Bluestone did the mold and asbestos removal for both properties, and they did a great job. We were very impressed by the thorough work they did. Everything was cleaned, and both homes were back in "presentable" shape ahead of the schedule we had set. No buyers yet, but Bluestone did everything we asked at a really good price.
