Please spend your money somewhere else. My experience here was trashy. The owner decides to tell me about her indiscretions with someone her coworker is dating my first time there and then the second in extremely rude because she was running behind. I will not be back.

I went to Belledonne Spa as part of a wedding party. We all bought the groupon for a massage and facial. The service was horrible. The owner was arguing with her Dad the whole time. While having my facial the owner talked about her outings the night before to a strip club with friends. I have no idea how she thinks this is professional talk, especially at a spa. She also put down other spas around the area. After my facial she didn't even get all the stuff off before she sent me on my way. My massage was just as bad, the lady kept talking with no concern for customer service. When I left the massage, she too didn't get all the body scrub off of me, making me and my clothes gritty. The spa itself is unclean and not kept well. Very rude employees, terrible attitude, and horrible business skills.

I just got off the phone with the owner, Brittney. I'm writing this review because she didn't care and told me it wasn't necessary to do it. I had emailed in a complaint about one of the massage therapists (Maria). When I mentioned what happened to Brittney, and said "if she told me i was overweight, maybe she tells others?" - she told me i was rude to assume that. Rude to assume she talked to everyone about being overweight because she talked and lectured me about being overweight?? Seems to me the therapists and owner are the ones who are rude.



My complaint is this: As she started my massage, she sounded terrible and told me how she wasn't "contagious" anymore and that she had the FLU the last 2 days and was stuck in bed. I've never had the flu in my life, and here she is with the flu giving me a massage. Then she proceeded to tell me how i need to lose weight during the massage. Then she went onto trying to sell me massage or facial packages DURING my massage. The she asked me if i have gone to the doctor lately and how i needed to go and get my blood work done, etc. I let her know that my blood work is done at work and I am 100% healthy and happy. She wouldn't let it go and told me about how her sister was 36 and got diabetes and dies at 42, and that i was still young, but need to keep an eye on it. She must have been suprised when I told her i was going to be 36 next week, because she paised about about 1 minutes - which was the only quiet time during the massage. Anyway, she talked the entire time and lectured me during what I thought was going to be a relaxing massage. Obviously will never go back. If i wanted to go for weight counseling, I would have went to a counselor, not for a masage. The owner blamed me for not telling her up front that it was to be a relaxing massage. Unreal.

I will NEVER, EVER, NEVER, go back to the place again. I advise anyone who is even thinking about it to change their mind. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought my treatment, they are all true and mine is just the same. Unprofessional, unorganized, lost my appointments, always late and ended early. Unfortunately she does not know the first thing about running a business. Not to mention it's the farthest thing from a "spa" like atmosphere....rooms are clinical feeling and just overall cheap. Stay away, not worth it.
