My wife and I have taken our pets there for years and have the utmost respect for Dr. B. and his great staff. He shows none thing but TLC and the greatest professional skills in veterinary medicine and surgery.
He is also stern with pet owners not following the home instructions regarding their pets health on the road to recovery after surgery.
The tech staff are just as professional and caring as Dr. B. and never show if they themselves are having a bad day in their personal lives.
We have seen this in other clinics and staff, but never at B A H.
We feel they are the very best that Kitsap County has to offer in pet care, surgery, treatment, and follow up visits.

Extremely disappointed! Yes they are cheap but not worth saving a few bucks if you love your pet. I took my cat in today and the vet tried to turn him on his back and my cat became very angry n screamed out in pain. My cat is extremely friendly and loves all people... I DO NOT KNOW ANY CAT THAT LIKES TO BE ON THEIR BACK! they have a bone in their back called a spine and yes it hurts them if you try to lay them on that bone. The vet was scared of my cat after it happen lol all I'm saying is I believe a good vet can bond with an animal easily, this man had no clue how to do that. You can not put a cat on their back!! They do not like it and yes, they will out in pain when you try to.... Not my cats fault... YOURS!! GET A CLUE OR GET OUTTA THE BUSINESS BEFORE YOU HURT SOMEBODY'S ANIMAL PLEASE!!

Extremely disappointed. Woman at the desk is short tempered and rude (she hung up on me...twice!), and when told that it was not appreciated became even more rude. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she nastily replied "I am my own supervisor." When my husband called to find out what this woman's deal was she lied to him about what happened! Would never trust my precious critters to people who lie and can't even be civil. Terribly, terribly disappointed.

Our cat had stopped eating and was sick a lot, we took him here. Block in his stomach. We authorized the op came back and he was still under anesthetic. Closing, they sent him home with us.We put him on our pad. Hours later, he still wasn’t coming round and was panting. Went to Poulsbo emergency where found he was massively burned on one side. Our pad, never gets past warm and we turned him constant. They had forgotten to turn to him and one side of our pet had been burned.

Our dog tangled with a Mountain Beaver and got a sizable gash on her head, extending into her orbit (but no eye inclusion, thankfully). Dr. Bischak and his staff saw her right away, did a beautiful job on the surgery and it didn't cost an arm & a leg. They give a damn, and it shows in the way they treat the animals.
