The archdiocese is comprised of over 290 parishes who serve nearly 140 communities. The Archdiocese of Boston provides educational services to more than 45,000 students in Catholic schools and over 156,000 children in religious education classes each year. It offers health care services to nearly 1 million patients annually in Catholic hospitals. The archdiocese serves approximately 200,000 individuals through social service outreach programs.
