HIGHLY RECOMMENDI had the misfortune to break down on a Sunday evening 350 miles from my home while hauling a 12’ trailer. I called AAA who recommended Mr. Transmission in Bourbonnais, IL. When the tow truck driver arrived I also asked the driver who he recommended and I received the same answer. I then called the phone number to Mr. Transmission expecting to get a machine but surprisingly, the owner, John Giblin answered and told me to have it towed to his shop and he would take a look at it 1st thing Monday AM. He also allowed me to park my trailer there for the duration.John called me Monday morning to inform me that my transfer case was damaged. He then asked if I would prefer a new one or used. I opted for him to try to find me a used one. John shopped around and found one with lower miles that he recommended I choose. I agreed and he expedited getting my truck fixed and me back on the road. Throughout my entire ordeal John called me several times with updates.My initially my fear was “Oh great, here I am broke down in a strange city, knowing I am at their mercy and would probably be taken advantage of.” How wrong I was. My fears were quickly dismissed after my communications with John. Not only did he truly care about my plight, I feel he is an honest and caring individual.My vehicle was repaired in a very timely and efficient manner, my final bill was actually less than I anticipated and my truck road smoother than it had for at least a year.My respect for John Giblin and Mr. Transmission was cemented when the next day I received a follow up call from John to make sure that I made it home and that everything was fine! The fact that he called meant more to me because I live 6 hours away. How many people do that anymore? Only because of logistics would I not be a repeat customer. All I can say is that I highly, highly recommend Mr. Transmission and owner John Giblin if you need your vehicle serviced. This is the place to go.Neil H. Parker / Traverse City, MI

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE FIX MY TRUCK THEY TOOK THE TIME TO TELL ME HOW IT WORKED, AND WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO FIX IT AND THE UPGRADES TO MAKE IT RUN BETTER. JOHN AND THE GUYS ARE TOP GUYS IN THE FIELD OF TRANSMISSIONS.
