Klatt Moving came highly recommended by several of my business associates and friends, so I decided to give them a try. Boy was I glad that I did ! My move from Erie to Longmont was fantastic- there was no damage and the moving team was good-natured and listened to my requests. I am the type who worries about everything, but these guys made me relax. If you need a happy move, give them a try.

These movers came highly recommended from a long-time friend of the family whom I trust. They had been contracted to move my elderly parents from Loveland to Longmont, and continue on to Castle Rock to finish the job and unload 7 pieces of furniture and 3 boxes.



The week of the move, they changed the plan to pack my parents on one day, bring the furniture to Castle Rock, and then move everything else in my parents house the next day. Understand that I had to pay for them to drive from Boulder to Loveland and then pay for the drive to return to Boulder at $100/hr. I didn't understand why that decision was made other than for them to make more money. They quoted 5-6 hours for the job to move the furniture to Castle Rock, and ended up charging me for 7 hours. When I talked to 'Chris' on the phone after getting the bill and he was very unprofessional, arguing with me about the 'industry standards', and offered to take fifty dollars off 'if I stopped yelling at him'. Having moved to CR earlier in the month, I was familiar with moving companies, and was appalled at his demeanor with a customer.



These movers arrived at the Loveland residence at 9, loaded and left by 10:30, but instead of driving to the interstate, they drove down to Longmont and took a break, left Longmont at 11:30 (they called me to tell me this), and not arriving in Castle Rock until 12:30. They had the furniture unloaded in an hour.

Immediately I found another moving company (that I used to move myself) to move my parents.



In my opinion, when I'm paying $100/hr, for people to drive to my house, I want them to 1. take the most direct route. 2. not to change the plan into 2 days, and have to pay them to drive back and forth again, especially when its costing me $200 each round trip.



Chris had the opportunity to keep the job (bigger move) with my parents, but instead, he wanted to squeeze me for everything he could. His unprofessional attitude was intolerable and I'm grateful to have found another mover for my elderly parents.

This was my second move with Klatt Moving and it was absolutely consistent with the first one, first-rate. I received a call the day before to confirm, the moving crew showed up right on time and displayed total professionalism throughout the entire process. Moving your household can be extremely stressful. It's so comforting to find a company that delivers everything they promise.Once again, I made the right choice by choosing Klatt Moving. Thank you!

I move every 2-3 years, and my move last month with Klatt Moving was by far the best move yet!! Roberto and his crew were polite and careful, and they worked quickly throughout the day. They never complained once, which surprised me since I had a lot of stuff and I was not at all organized. I will be moving again in another year or two, and will definitely use Klatt Moving & Storage again.

Klatt Moving & Storage is a fair and honest company. I got an estimate from Chris for moving large pieces only. He said if the move was for just the large items I showed him, it would take 2 men, 6 hours. When my movers showed up, I was stressed and tired, and I asked them to move more than what I had showed Chris. They were happy to help me, and the move ended up taking longer than 6 hours. Chris showed up on move day to make sure I was happy, and seemed very concerned that the move was going to take longer that quoted, even thought it was my fault. He said he would do whatever was needed to make me happy, and even gave me an additional discount to offset the extra time. He really cares about his coustomers and their overall happiness. This company is a true delight. From the moment I called the office, I felt comfortable dealing with Klatt Moving. The owner, Chris Klatt, did my estimate, and he was very helpful and informative. He promised me the movers would be careful, good-natured, and efficient, and they were! Chris even came to visit me on the day of the move to make sure all went well. I certainly recommend this company to anyone moving in the Boulder area.
