Today Blackman Appliance Repair was out to fix my leaking washer and crushed dryer vent. They quoted me a price that was a very fair price. During the repair Gary discovered that it was a miracle that the dryer didn't catch on fire from too much lint mixed with the heat. Gary cleaned all the lint from the dryer. Next he fixed the seal very effectively. During the test run Gary heard a sound that didn't seem right. It was the pump. The water was not draining because the pump was clogged. Gary quickly took apart the washer and found/ removed the clog. I was a little worried because of the extra work. I was quoted a price for about 2 hours work but it took 4 hours. Blackman Appliance Repair kept their promise and price. Gary didn't charge anything extra for the 2 extra hours of labor! Wow very honest, effective, and very Just! Now it's working perfectly. Super service! My regular repair service put me on a waiting list because they were so busy, but my fridge wasn't going to wait, so I went looking for another repair guy. I found Gary Blackman on a Saturday afternoon. He returned my call in no time and if he could have found the part, he would have been out there that day. He came first thing Monday morning, and I couldn't be happier. He is very personable and has reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

Gary Blackman was a true angel of mercy for us. We had just moved into a new (old) house in Woolwich when the fridge quit. I looked up appliance repair in the yellow pages, called the number, and he was here within an hour and repaired and warranteed what could have been a much bigger problem had he not been so astute and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to anyone. His rates are reasonable and he is a lovely guy.
