I have had excellent service from the Culligan in Bolingbrook. I'm very pleased with the softener they suggested. My water feels absolutely perfect. I'm on the scheduled salt delivery plan and I get a call the day before the delivery guy is coming and he fills the softener, leaves the bill on the softener, and there is absolutely no mess. My softener is in the basement so that's no small task. There are much cheaper ways to go, but I'm very very pleased with this service and system.

Culligan came out to remove a water softener and a pipe burst and flooded my kitchen. Rob the supervisor out of the Bolingbrook office would never call me back after calling him 8 times most likely because I cancelled my service with this horrible company. They stated that claims department would come out to look at the damage and that never happened. Basically til me it wasn't their fault and nothing they can do. DO NOT USE CULLIGAN and ROB who is a supervisor needs to find a new career does not know how to manage.

Just found out that after they sold us a sulphur filter in 2008 for $2000 we do not have a sulphur problem. We do have a high lead level. No wonder it never seemed to be doing the job. Culligan is either crooked or highly incompetent.

Save your time effort and money, and find someone else to handle your water needs.

I made the error of installing drinking and softening systems with maintenance agreements. They have recently changed the way they bill so that I am not paying for service in the month provided, but I am paying in advance for service not yet performed. Originally they checked my equipment every other month. Now that I am locked into a contract, they stop by once a quarter to add salt. I am not convinced that they do any real checking of the system. If you know of anyone who services this type of equipment other than Culligan, I sure would like to know.
