I strongly suggest you go somewhere else for your automotive service. I've gone to the 27th St. Midas twice now, mainly because it was close to work and convenient for me to drop the vehicle off during the day. Both times I've been there, I have walked away feeling completely ripped off. Each time, they underbid the project considerably. Each time the actual bill they gave me was well over $100 more than the estimate.



This last time, I gave them $350 to find and repair a rattling noise I developed under my vehicle and they failed to do so. I went in to talk to them about it, and their response was, "Oh, that's too bad." They then informed me that I would have to give them an additional $250 to go back in and fix it, which in actuality would probably have been over a hundred dollars more than that. There are far more reputable service stations in Boise you can use.
