Ada Veterinary Hospital has been a great place to take our cats. They are very competent and knowledgable, as well as compassionate. One cat needed dental work and we had been given an estimate by another vet for nearly $1000. Ada Vet Hospital gave us an estimate for less than $400. AND, the total bill ended up being less than the estimate! We are currently treating a cat with chronic renal failure and have been able to do that at home, ourselves, thanks to the instructions and supplies we get at Ada Vet. They seem to be truly concerned about our animals, rather than making money. We referred my parents there for their kitties.

We recently moved to an area very close to Ada Veterinary Hospital. In the process my wife and I switched from another local vet clinic that we were fairly happy with. I have to say that Ada Vet is by far the best clinic we have ever visited (and we have been to several). We took our Bulldog there to be spayed and everyone went out of their way to ensure her comfort and give us regular updates on her condition. We just had to take her in for an issue with her leg and the service from Dr. Steve and his staff was again commendable. I would HIGHLY recommend this vet practice. I've been taking my bulldog and cat there for a couple years now and have had only great experiences. Last week they diagnosed my cat with renal failure and he was a very sick little kitty. The staff at Ada Vet were knowledgeable, and genuinely cared for my cat. He was at the clinic for 4 full days and every time I called I was able to speak to the vet immediately. Nina and the rest of the techs always had updates for me and told me what a good kitty he was despite his condition. Aside from my anxiety over his illness I knew he was being taken care of to the best of their ability and their advice for me was honest. I never felt that they were taking advantage of his illness to get more money out of me. At the end of his stay at the clinic the vet bill was WAY lower than I had expected!

This is a great clinic that really cares about treating animals and their charges are just a necessary requirement of business rather than the reason for their existence.

Not only are the prices so reasonable, but the Vet's (husband and wife) are the best. We have had all kinds of cat injuries taken care of, and brought injured bunnies...they rock!

We have three dogs and have been to numerous vets in the Boise area and elsewhere, and I have been to only one other veterinary office that comes close (one in another town). A friend recommended Ada Veterinary Hospital a couple of years ago. The individualized attention and care that our dogs get is remarkable. Everything is explained to us; we are never pressured into anything but always presented with good information and encouraged to make our own decisions. No redundant or unnecessary expenses are imposed upon us, and we are confident that every decision and recommendation is made with our dogs' best interest in view. Follow-up is never used as an opportunity to maximize profit. Whenever I call the office, they know who I am and remember my dogs. They have even encouraged us to stop by at our convenience so our puppies could say hello and get a treat, and I'm comfortable doing it.

I have been taking my dogs to this hospital for a year and half now and will not take them anywhere else! Dr Basinger is so knowledgable and experienced and really cares for the animals. They have never tried to get me in and out, because I'm just another appointment, but they take time with my dogs and with me to really help educate me about my animals. They definitely keep the stress level as low as possible for me and my dogs when we are there. The staff are so friendly and personable and I never have to wait forever for my appointment, like I have had to do at other vet hospitals. Ada Veterinary Hospital definitely gets 5 stars from me!
