Dr. Izdean Mufleh, DO is an Internal Medicine physician with a special interest in weight loss, nutrition, and fitness. He has always had a passion for athletics, and continues to be actively involved in many sports. He believes that physical fitness and health are achievable goals for all, and has helped many people become healthier, better versions of themselves. Dr. Mufleh understands that the path to look and feel better is different for everyone. For his patients looking to become healthier and more fit, he employs a comprehensive evaluation that includes, amongst other things, an assessment of hormonal, cardio-metabolic, and nutritional status. Afterward, an individualized treatment plan is developed. Dr. Mufleh then works hand-in-hand with his patients to put that plan into practice. Dr. Mufleh is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he also carries an additional certification in Sports Nutrition. Dr. Mufleh earned his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Afterward, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Florida Atlantic University. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, as well as the Obesity Medicine Association.
