Our real estate investment LLC was a satisfied customer of R&K Properties for 13 years and for the first 11 things were good. Their broker, Liz, ran the business ethically and professionally. One of their associates, Rick Binder, ran his own property maintenance group but under Liz the property owners were not obligated to use Rick’s services. R&K put work out for bid to competitive, quality, contractors.



In 2014, things changed. Liz passed away and Rick Binder took over as the broker with all work going through Rick Binder’s group without any competition. Items of note:



1. Performed the same work multiple times on the same unit and billed each time without any warranty period.

2. Performed $440 worth of unauthorized landscaping work.

3. Failed to maintain bids. Approved for $1850, billed $2263.

4. Disenfranchised several tenants we then had to evict while still charging their fees, repairs and commissions for finding new tenants.



They treat your money as if it belongs to them.
