Tom Enterline and Raeford Russell worked their way through college by building a variety of projects that included small houses, decks, carports and gazebos. They also remodeled kitchens, bathrooms and entire residences. Upon completing their studies at Appalachian State University, they formally began Enterline & Russell Builders. Enterline & Russell Builders is a full-service custom residential and commercial construction company based in North Carolina. The company began operations in 1983 and employs nearly 70 tradesmen. It provides most of the primary trade groups in-house with tradesmen on its payroll. Therefore, the company is not dependent on subcontractors. The company feels this gives it a greater control over each project s quality, schedule and cost. Enterline & Russell Builders is headquartered in Blowing Rock, N.C.
